How do I describe Metaxis? I'm not sure. It's really a personal brand. It's a creative outlet. It's a dream. It's a way of showing support for people going through hard times. It's my contribution to the world. Does that mean anything to you? I'll let you tell me. In exchange, I'll tell you what it means to me.
Metaxis describes a state of in-between. Life, to me, reflects exactly that. We find ourselves in states of happy ~ sad, love ~ lovesick, birth ~ death, etc. Growing up, I found myself crashing against the spectral walls of life hoping I would hit them hard enough to stick. Like so many others, I didn't know where I belonged. I still don't. I'm just starting to think that's ok. These thoughts have brought me some semblance of peace.
I want you to have that peace as well. I want you to see people wearing this brand and know that you're not alone in this world. That the people you see aren't going to judge you because we're all floating just the same. I hope you find comfort in the liminal.
